Neighbourhood
Tucked away on the unspoilt western Algarve coast, Salema is a rare gem that captures the essence of authentic seaside Portugal. Once a traditional fishing village, it has retained its charm and laid-back spirit while offering all the comforts of a luxury holiday destination. Whitewashed cottages & villas tumble down to a golden, Blue Flag beach framed by dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters. The village’s narrow lanes are dotted with excellent restaurants, welcoming cafés and small boutiques.
